About Breakout Malaysia

Breakout, a Malaysian-made brand, are the creators of the first ever character based escape room game operator in the world that incorporates both characters and role – playing strategies located in two outlets in Avenue K and NU Sentral Shopping Mall at Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

Breakout have since expanded their franchise and Breakout escape rooms can now be experienced by people in the United States (Novus), Canada, Saudi Arabia (Novus), South Korea and Myanmar. In July 2020, Breakout also debuted the first virtual escape experience where customers can play escape room from the comforts of their home remotely during the covid-19 pandemic.   

2022 marked another year of expansions with the opening of a third outlet in Melaka at The Shore Shopping Gallery that is a hybrid outlet with an escape game experience and also the upcoming Spy Game.

Spy Game marks its debut with Breakout’s 4th outlet at The Curve, which is a first of its kind game concept in Malaysia that is never before seen where players will roleplay as a SPY and infiltrate into a secure location and avoid patrolling guards in order to accomplish a given mission!

The Breakout & Spy Game rooms are designed to have their own storyline or branching storylines, mind-boggling puzzles, tasks and strategies to beat them. Players need to use wit, skill, and teamwork to complete the game and win through the use of superpowers, special hints and a help system to promote analytical skills, time management, decision – making and strategizing among the players.

Superdough is formed by a team of creative and passionate young people constantly pushing the boundaries of novel entertainment experiences. Having established the Breakout brand in 2014, Superdough launched Hauntu, Malaysia and SEA’s first fully immersive haunted experience with Hauntu going on to achieve considerable success, a testament to our unwavering commitment to quality and innovative gameplay. Superdough hopes to replicate this success via the opening of a new outlet in Melaka, the 1st outlet outside of Kuala Lumpur and also with the brand new Spy Game concept.
